Knee Peels: To Bare or Not To Bare?

It’s that time of the year when not just the guys like wearing shorts but us girlies love donning the shorts too.  Holiday shorts during the day, evening shorts for clubbing, cute playsuits …endless ways to show off your knees and yet some of us struggle to do this.  All because knees look lined, old and generally the skin looks crepey and dry.

So what do us girls do?  This is an easy one, truly- Knee Peels!

Knee Peels Are on Trend

Check out which skin clinics or beauty salons are doing Chemical Peels and ask for a knee peel. Skin clinics should offer this as a treatment for knees, hands and feet and it’s a fantastic treatment if you can have all three done at the same time.

Firstly, your knees are cleansed using Exfoliating Cleanser, then an Exfoliating scrub is used, next the chemical peel gel is applied and left on for a number of minutes depending on the strength of the Glycolic Acid contained within the Peel solution.   This gel is carefully and thoroughly removed and skin is moisturised with Essential Moisture and finally a spf 30 is applied.

And low and behold, smooth, soft, line free knees are now on show!
